Christmas parade

We took Ella to her very first parade on Saturday.  The parade started at 2pm but we got downtown early to do a little shopping.  We went in a little girly shop, Pink-a-Boutique, and Ella found some butterfly wings.  She took them up to the register and told me to pay for them :)  So, we left with a set of butterfly wings that she insisted on wearing during the entire parade.  She even had to wear them in the car seat on the ride home.  She would say “look at my pretty butterfly wings!”  Too cute!!  Ella got sleepy right before the parade started, but once she heard the sirens she was wide awake and started waving at everybody.  She waved and said Merry Christmas throughout the whole parade!

They had trees lined up and down the streets that local businesses, schools, and organizations decorated.

And last but definitely not least…it’s Santa Claus!!!!  When we ask Ella what she wants Santa to bring her for Christmas she tells us a “Happy Meal!”  Haha!!
