Easter morning we woke up well rested to a FANTASTIC breakfast at Mary and Carol's house! I think I ate enough to gain back all the weight I walked off! Mary and Carol even got in touch with the Easter Bunny and told him that Ella would be at their house on Easter morning. The Easter Bunny brought her a big basket full of dress-up jewelry, a"bucket" (pocketbook), and a "hat" (tiara)! She LOVES dressing up and definately likes the bling!! Thank you Mary and Carol for everything and especially for making us feel so at home! I hope we weren't too much trouble! With full bellies, we loaded up after breakfast and hit the road again. After the 7 hour ride back (would have been less but we decided to take the "scenic" route...haha!), we arrived home to see that the Easter Bunny visited our house too even though we were not at home!! We quickly unloaded the Tahoe and headed up to Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's house for Sunday dinner. We managed to get outside for a little while to hunt eggs with the girls. We were all exhausted after a FABULOUS Easter vacation! We had so much fun and enjoyed spending time with our amazing family! Ella was so tired that she fell asleep early and slept for over 12 hours!
We were busy and exhausted on Sunday, but it didn't keep us from rejoicing because HE IS RISEN! Easter is such a happy day for me because it reminds me that Jesus died for MY sins and rose again for ME and YOU!
