So what's Ella up to these days??
~She can say her ABCs (from A to Z) all by herself. Sometimes she forgets O and P but other than that she knows them all!
~She can count from 1 to 10. She counts EVERYTHING! We're now working on 11 through 20. It's so funny because when she's repeating us she says 13 through 19 all as "teen."
~She sings the Wheels on the Bus with us (she does the round and round, wah-wah, wah, and shh, shh, shh parts and we sing the rest). My favorite part is when she yells out "TOWN!" It's so funny!
~She loves being outside and will show us her sassy, bad attitude side when it's time to come back inside. Her favorite outdoor activity is definately bubbles! With swinging coming in at a close second. Followed by kick ball, playing in the sand box, and coloring with sidewalk chalk.
~She's still a chatter box! She can say anything she wants to and everything we don't want her too :)
~We are starting to work on word recognition and so far it's going really well! Ella can read the following words: hi, cat, dog, wave, baby, elephant, tiger, gorilla, book, up, down. She loves playing with her flash cards
~She knows all her colors and shapes and loves playing "what color or shapes is this?" Anytime she sees a shape she lets everyone know!
~She loves having her back scratched and will come up to you, raise her shirt, and tell you to "scratch back"
~We're still slacking on the potty training but plan to step it up now that the weather is warmer. Less clothes makes the whole process a little easier. Ella tells us when she has pooped so I think it's time!
~She's still a picky eater and somedays doesn't eat enough to keep a bird alive. But other days, she pigs out! Her favorite foods are berries or any fruit.
~She loves watching Dancing with the Stars. She calls it "Dancing Stars." We camp out on the couch with water and goldfish in our PJs and watch it every week. Love it!
~When she sees McDonald's arches she yells "hamburger and fries"
~Someone taught her to pick her nose for boogies (Thanks-Uncle Matt!) So I'm constantly having to tell her to get her finger out of her nose. Definately not a milestone we've looked forward to!
These are just a few of the many things that we're into these days. Ella is so much fun and constantly keeps us laughing! She loves to laugh and brings so much joy and life to an otherwise ordinary day. We are head over heels in love with this little girl! She definately has us wrapped around her little finger! We love you Ella!!!
