Giraffes and Monkeys!

All last week, Ella told us that she was going to the zoo to see giraffes and monkeys! And that she did! Not only did we see giraffes and monkeys, but lots of animals! Ella was so excited that she would squeal when she saw the animals. It was so funny and actually attracted some of the animals to her. Maybe she has the ability to talk to animals like Dr. Doolittle :) We had beautiful weather all day...in fact, it was one of the HOTTEST days we've had so far this year! Regardless of how hot it was, we had so much fun and can't wait to go back to the zoo.

Before we began our safari, we realized we brought the wrong sunscreen with us, so we had to pit stop by the gift shop to buy some. Guess how much we had to pay for a spray can of 50 SPF sunscreen.....??? $14.00!!! I couldn't believe how expensive! The same can costs $6.48 at Wal-Mart (Save Money, Live Better :)!! That's my advertising for the day! Anyway, Ella would pull the sunscreen out of her stroller and want me to spray her with it every few hours. Good skin care starting at an early age!

This is the only "G" rated photo of the lions I could post on the blog! Let's just say that LOVE was in the air!! Ella yelled out "Lions snuggling!!" and everybody standing around looked at us with these funny looks on their faces. It was so funny!

Wonder what happened to the boot's owner? This chimp was so funny...he was sitting there looking at the people like he was studying us! Maybe he was checking out our shoes to see who's he wanted next?!

Ella and Mimi watching the sea lions. This was probably Ella's favorite animal. They were so entertaining and were extremely playful. They would swim right up against the glass where Ella was standing and she would yell "OHHHH!" every time they came by. She didn't want to leave!
