Evan at 6 Months

 

How can it be that half a year has already gone by?

Evan at 6 months…

• Weight:  14 lbs. 10 oz.
• Height:  25 & 3/4 inches
• You are wearing size 2-3 diapers and 6 month clothing
• You have your first tooth!  You are so proud of it and show it off with that big smile of yours!  You continue to chew on anything and everything so maybe there’s more teeth on the way?!
• You are quite the little eater :)  You love sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, apples, pears, and bananas.  You will only eat green beans when Mrs. Sharon feeds you!  You grunt and fuss in between spoonfuls.  We just can’t shovel it in that little mouth of yours fast enough!
• You are starting to sit up all by yourself.  You’re still a little top heavy but before long you’ll be doing it all by yourself!
• You’ve outgrown your swing :(  You can sit up in it and almost flipped it over so it was time for it to go!  It made me sad when Daddy packed it up…yet another reminder that you’re growing up too fast!
• You love being on the floor so you can roll around.  You can roll wherever you need to go!  And you always end up where I try to block you from with pillows! 
• You are such a happy little guy!  That sweet smile and laugh of yours melts my heart!!
• When you get excited, you say “oooohhhh-oooohhhh.”  And if anybody says it to you, you repeat them.
• You normally take 2 good naps during the day…although sometimes, you take several little power naps. 
• You normally go to bed around 10pm and will sleep until around 9am the next morning. 
• You love your paci still!
