We hope everyone had a blessed Christmas Day!! We sure did!! They were calling for a bad ice storm around our neck of the woods so Nana P and Paw-Paw Kelly decided to come spend the night with us. Luckily, the ice storm missed us, but hit the NC mountains pretty hard! Mimi and Daddy spent a lot of long hours working hard to help get the power back on!! We were so blessed to have our parents with us Christmas morning for gifts and breakfast! It was so much fun seeing Ella’s excitement when she saw that Santa had come!
I think Ella was on Santa’s NICE list!! She got lots of dress-up clothes, art supplies, musical instruments, books, American Girl Bitty Baby (with matching PJs for Ella), Leap Frog toys, and a “big red tramp-o-ling!” We had to look at the trampoline through the window because it was COLD and RAINING Christmas morning.

Paw-Paw Kelly and Nana P helping Ella open her presents!! They must have thought she was on the NICE list too!!!!!
After opening presents, Nana P made waffles for everyone using Paw-Paw Kelly’s new waffle maker! They were delicious!!!
We then spent the afternoon at Mimi and Paw-Paw’s house with Nanny and Pop and the rest of the family! We had lots and lots of good food and fun playing Dirty Santa! Ella was so tired she fell asleep in her chair eating lunch. I wish I had taken more pictures but I put my camera up and didn’t get it back out until everybody was leaving.
I did get a picture of Shannon and Ella…too cute!
Paw-Paw has a Lionel train set that he put in their sun room around a Christmas tree for Ella. She LOVES to sit out there and just watch it go around and around. Ella now knows how to turn it on and off, make the whistle sound, and add smoke. She gets so mad when we make her turn it off! This picture makes me laugh because they both just sit there and watch it go around and around :)
