1st Annual Cookie Decorating Party

Last night, my family came over and we baked and decorated sugar cookies. Ella was a big help! She loved watching the mixer do all the work :) She wanted to be right in the middle of all the action. We had so much fun decorating the cookies...even the guys enjoyed it :) Ella mainly stuck her hands in the sprinkles and then put the handful of sprinkles in her mouth. She did manage, however, to get a few on her star cookie. We had so much fun and decided to make this a tradition! Maybe next year, I won't bake the cookies too long and you can actually bite into them without breaking a tooth :)

A "Betty Crocker" in the making?! She definately doesn't get her cooking/baking skills from me!

Sooo excited about the mixer! The faster the mixer speed, the more excited Ella got!

Ella wanted to decorate the "S-T-A-R-ah." Mommy helped decorate while Ella filled up on sprinkles! Can we say SUGAR HIGH?

The Taylor Gang! Da-da in his fire suit and Mommy in her pearls :) Look how cute Ella is!

Paws with his green hair & Mimi with her scarf, hair bow, and collagen injected lips :)

Side note: Ella has decided to call my mom "Mimi." We've called her Nana since before Ella was born and Ella would never call her that. She's said Nana & Mimi a few times but never anything consistently. So this week, Ella started calling her Mimi. I think she was confused because she hears me call her Mom. She calls my Dad either "Paw-Pop" or "Paws." So for now, it's Paws and Mimi. I'll update you on what she calls Cory's parents during Christmas. She's making up her own names for everybody so who knows what she'll call someone next!
