Sun, Pool and Fun!

Summer is full of lots of sun, fun and pool time!  Every chance we get we head for the water!  Ella learned to swim this year and loves jumping off the side of the pool.  She’s a little water bug!  Evan isn’t scared of the water either!  He can swim all over the pool in his puddle jumper.

Tweetsie 2012

The company Cory & Mimi work for has their annual company picnic at Tweetsie.  The kids love going and get so excited about riding the rides.  Ella LOVES the ferris wheel and would ride it 100 times if one of us could stomach riding it that many times.  It sits on the “edge” of a hill so the downward part of the ride can turn your stomach (or at least it does mine!)  It doesn’t seem to bother Ella, though!  Evan loved the trains but didn’t like the shooting at Fort Boone.  At least the Indians don’t run through the train screaming and yelling like they did when I was Evan’s age.  I can still remember my heart racing every time I got on that train!!

Evan’s first Tweetsie train ride.  He didn’t take his eyes off the show until the guns started firing and he buried his head in Paw-Paw’s chest.

Eli surprised us all and came 5 weeks early!!  He partied all day at Ella’s Ballerina Birthday party and then decided that night it was time for his birthday!!  We are all so excited about the newest addition to the family!  These “E” kiddos are going to have fun growing up together!  I can’t wait to write all about their adventures :)

We had decided months ago that we wanted to have Ella’s 5th birthday party at our new house…little did we know that we would move in and in less than 2 weeks we were having a party!  It was a little stressful but we pulled it off (and only had to stay up 2 nights in a row until 2am!)

I decided that I was going to make tutus for all the girls…WOW!  Thank goodness for friends and family that helped me make them.  I hope I don’t have to make another tutu for a very long time..lol!
