Evan’s Baby Shower

Our family did an amazing job hosting a baby shower to celebrate Baby Evan!  The food and decorations were fabulous and Baby Evan got so many great gifts!  Aunt Ashley and Mimi worked so hard to make everything perfect…and it was!!  Everybody talked about what a great party it was!!  We were overwhelmed by the number of family and friends that came to help us celebrate!  God has truly blessed us!!  We can’t wait to share Baby Evan with all of you!  Thank you again for all the gifts and for showing your love and support for our family!  We can’t thank you enough!!

 For party favors, Aunt Ashley wrapped bars of soap in little diapers.  They were adorable and the guests loved them!!

Sunset Beach 2010

I can’t believe our annual Bolick Family beach trip has already come and gone again!  Why is it that vacation weeks go by so much faster than any other weeks of the year?!  I guess time truly does fly when you’re having fun!  Ella LOVED the beach again this year…sand, water, and all!  I love the beach but this year it was a little less relaxing since I was 7.5 months pregnant!  The weather was beautiful but boy was it HOT!!  The temperature stayed in the high 90s and the heat index one day was 115!!  Ella wanted to stay in the ocean but it was way too hot for me so I found a nice cool  cooler place in the shade.  The rest of the gang took turns playing with Ella.  Aunt Ashley’s sister, Gracie, was a lifesaver and helped keep Ella entertained.  Ella loved playing with her!! 

It’s hard to believe that next year we’ll have another little one crawling around in the sand!

Ella and her BFF Maddy~  Maddy and her family were at the beach all week and stayed a couple houses away from us.  These girls had so much fun!!

After lunch everyday, the tide would go out and leave a pool of water that Ella loved to play in!  Even Paw-Paw Sanford came out for a swim :)
